30 Days of Me: Tickles My Fancy

It's pretty convenient that what I will now refer to as a "freestyle" day in the 30 days thing happens on a Sunday, considering I was worried about double posting. (The Music post will be up later).

But since I am double dipping, I wanted to make this brief. As if during 30 days about myself wasn't enough, I am going to do a bit of self-promotion.

Pretend people still read the newspaper and here a few articles I have done so far in my internship.

  1. YAY! You make a great whore. ;)

Love the Terrible Things article- you probably enjoyed writing that piece! I now want to go to the Titantic museum...I've put it on my "places to visit" list. THANKS! And who doesn't love seniors exposing things to kids? *snicker* :)

You write all professional! You're all grown up! Awesome job, seriously. I think you picked the right career as far as where your talents lie.

And yea, interviewing a guy that used to be in Taking Back Sunday had my heart beating pretty fast

    Thanks for the compliment :)

  6. Mr.O,

I recently decided that I needed to get back to writing my blog. I was pleasantly surprised to see your comment on my list of cds that "may have" inspired the youth and artist of the 21st century.

I have never liked Green Day and I base this on the fact that i am the youngest in my family and Green Day was always belittled by my older brothers so Green Day and Mr. Rogers were a part of my youth that I could not accept.

Having said that, I do not agree with most of their political views so i have a hard time listening to their newer music (which is ironic because I blast Anti-Flag from my car on a regular basis?)

Taking Back Sunday to me could be considered a victim of circumstance. I don't know if you have seen, but John Nolan and Shawn... whatever his last name is are back in TBS and they have made claims of going back to their roots. So just like Sum 41 maybe they realized that their cds, however they made have been received by fans, was maybe not where they wanted to be (play on words intended.)

You have gained a follower and inspired me to work harder to blog.

Check out Northstar and Cassino, they are fellow Alabamaers too.
