This is one of two cds on this countdown that were never officially released. Though, a simple google search will help you locate the free mixtape.I have no idea how I stumbled across this. I think I heard one of the tracks on a friend's myspace page? But then I went to youtube and tried to find other tracks and was blown away.
The concept basically goes this: DJ AM mixes tracks while Travis Barker drums over them. It's pretty simple, yet really effective. If you ever heard of Girl Talk, it's kind of the same thing except w/ Girl Talk it can be like 27 songs on one track, but this is more of a mix between songs.
Here are just a few of the songs that you can variously find in here if you gave it a shot: Ring of Fire, Lollipop, Can't Stop, Bombs over Baghdad, Your Love.
I played this mix out when I first got it, then passed it to my sister and brother in law and they have done the same. I passed to a fellow blogger friend and now I am highlighting it in the countdown.
*Edit: So here is where you can find the official download. And I see there is a Vol. 2? Let's check it out together...
