Flashback Friday: April 22, 2005

This is from my livejournal. It was titled "There's a smile on my face and it's 2:55 AM" and all I can say is you can clearly tell that my upcoming college year was heavy on my mind.

Some of the stuff people may not get, but that's the beauty of going back. This was when I was writing to my friends not to a blog of mystery people (After four years, I prefer this now actually). But anyways, it's not the most interesting, but for me personally, it brings back some great memories in particular memories of my friend Shedrick who sadly passed away November of that same year. There will probably be some posts with more details on nights when it hits me.

Anyways, here it is. If I don't get on here again, I hope everybody (even those in places that don't celebrate it) has a great 4th of July weekend.

WARNING!!!!!!!!! This is long, i would put in one of those cut things, but i forgot how, haha. So read on, only if you are willing....

Let me first start off by saying that sorry i havent updated in a while, but a lot has been going on. And it sucks that almost all of my entries are me going off about something, but it was my way of dealing with it. So, onto the random thoughts

I love lightning. I think it is one of the most beautiful natural things to ever occur, besides when you look at the sky when the sun is setting and some of the sun is shining through a cloud. But i love it so much, but here is my question. When it rains, u say it is raining, when it snows, you say it is snowing, but what do you say when there is lightning outside? Is it lightninging, someone please let me know.

I saw the pics of Jessi's prom. She looked beautiful, of course, but it still sucked that she had a bad night. Sucked that Becky had a bad night, especially since that was my fault. Now im starting to worry about my senior prom, but oh well, i have a beautiful date, and immature friends, so im sure it will be great. Just gotta get a tux....

I also looked at JJ's slideshow. That thing was awesome. Looked like a lot of work went into it. Made me sad, once again. They looked so happy. Made me want to be with them, but my ass was at work. Same as Spring Break. Watched some of the video at the Baisas tonite. I have to get a camera for the summer, and make one of June with all my friends, and July with my family. It will be great

Speaking of the baisas, hung out at thier house tonite. Friggin fun, but before I go onto tonite, let me talk about last week for a second. The three random funny events:
1) As me and Jme were on our way to the movies (Amytiville Horror, not that great), a guy pulled behind us and got on our ass, then TURNED HIS LIGHTS OFF! That crap was freaky.
2) In the middle of the previews, i see Frisco's cell phone go off, and ask if it was Janel, and get a yes as a reply. He says that she is on her way. We (in this order: Stormi, Emily, Jme, Me, Frisco, Kelly), all move down one so she can sit at the end. When she gets there, she calls Frisco and he tells her that we are on the right. She comes in the left, and walks down the aisle in front of everybody to get her seat, the very last one, on the right. What a genius, and she is our valedictorian. And if she reads this, she better not get mad, cuz she knows it was funny.
3) As were we getting up from our seats, and exiting Jme says to me "is that Hedman?" When i realize that it is, and he is accompanied by Tiffany, Ace, Myke, and Thomas, the loudest "AHH BRUH!!!" noise i have ever heard lasted for about a minute, filling up the theatre as each one saw the other. The whole damn movie and they were two rows behind us the whole time. Crazy shit

Now, on to tonite. I have a Friday night off, which never happens, and wouldnt have happenned if Brandon didnt have a track meet on Thursday. So, since nothing good movie wise is out, and i dont really have the money to spend anyways, i thought i would just chill at home. Well, that got boring, so i called shedrick and decided I would bring some games and chill at his house. Before I got there, I saw Ivan and stopped and talked to him. Nice to have him back, whenever Jessica's not around. Even better when he admits it. Went to Shedrick's, but after seeing Thomas and Hedman's cars at the Baisas, went over there. Well, they were still in trouble for today's stupid paper incident (who gets iss for throwing paper, honestly), so we had to wait till after nine when their dad left. Hedman left, and me and thomas went to shedrick's to play some games. After some other people got there, me and thomas decided to leave and go to McDonald's. When we got there, saw Kelly and Larry (first time we saw Larry working there - a hilarious guy if ive ever seen one). As im standing there, deciding what i want, Jessica throws a double cheese burger at me, hits me in the head, and it falls to the ground. Now, if anybody knows me, they know i am going to eat that burger. But she wants to make me another anyways. Then, after sweet talking Kelly, i end up getting two double cheeseburgers, a powerade, and some fries, for nothing. Right place, right time. Then, me and thomas want to go through the drive-thru to mess with Kelly, then figure out its not kelly and bail. When we think its Jessica, we go back to order "two quesadias, an oreo blizzard, and a jr whopper", when we realize its not Jessica, we once again bail, this time for good. This bring us to the baisas. After watching some funny video footage, i get inspired and want to get on there. However, i told the parental units i would be home around 10. As i was about to walk out the door, i notice it is POURING, so i call my mom and stay a lil longer. After a few minutes of brainstorming, we make a video entitled "Fucked Up". It involves me, thomas, myke, a contract, and a cap gun. You do the math.

I just want to say, i love those damn baisas. Two of the most awesome nights i have had my senior year, and to date, have been with them. The infamous "car wash" night, and this. Sadly, they will be going to UA next year. With Montgomery sort of in the middle, we gotta meet up, and we will.

As i always need to put out there, i HATE calculus when i stare at a screen and have no idea what is going on, i HATE yearbook when everybody is working hard, and we still get in trouble, i HATE Spanish II with stupid interns, and Coach Nichols is a cool guy.

New dates for the summer. I leave Saturday, July 9, and come back Sunday, August 7. Is anybody going to miss me?

As a bonus, here is the infamous video I was talking about featuring the Baisas that keep getting mentioned. Only one is featured, while the other is doing the filming, but a little trivia is that they are Filipino twins. Also in the video is Thomas and at the very end is Shedrick.
