The Teaser

Titled that because there are a couple of things I am going to touch on, but not go into. Yet.

*There has been a turn of events in the "this girl" story. However, with jme visiting in two days, I can't go into it just now as she should get the scoop first. Cuz she is a good friend and has been keeping up. But it's good news. I think?

*Tried to get a column at our school's newspaper. Was unsuccessful. They said they didn't have enough room, but maybe in the fall. I think, until then, I am going to start a new blog dedicated to just that. Will try to have a serious tone like I am writing for a newspaper or magazine or what have you. More details on that later.

*I want to put my two cents in with the rest of the world and say this. I can see the Twilight guy winning breakout performance, ok I can deal with that. Maybe movie of the year because of who was voting (but it shouldn't have won that). But how IN THE WORLD are you going to tell me that it had a better fight than The Dark Knight??? Even Pineapple Express had a better fight scene. Kids these days...

*So being the assistant music director is pretty cool. We got some cds this week that don't come out till next week. Ballin.

*Speaking of cds, Taking Back Sunday came out with theirs this week. My opinion on it? That will probably in my first post in the new blog :)

And did I mention I am really getting into the Kings of Leon? Well, at least thier latest cd. I will end it with that.
