And just to follow up

Anberlin's new cd, "Dark is the Way, Light is a Place" came out today.

So far, I have some tracks I really like. Others, I think I am going to get used to (some repeat a lot, and I kind of don't like songs that repeat but I will post about that later).

Here is the really awesome video for their first single, "Impossible"

Hope you enjoy. And expect "normal" blogging to return soon :)

  1. I watched the whole video and was like WTF?...I don't really get it.

Anyways...I love it when new albums come out that I've been anticipating.

Also, yay for "normal" blogging - but really, what is "normal" blogging? I'd say what you've been doing is blogging just the same.

  2. haha I think it's one of those "interpret it for how you want" types. I just think it was visually awesome.

Just curious, but are you looking forward to "Hurley" by Weezer?

I guess normal would mean more than on Sunday and not just about one band haha

  3. Okay - here's my thing with Weezer lately....I'm having a hard time defending them against haters. I didn't really like the last album (Raditude) because I thought it was a bit juvenile. As for Hurley - "Memories" is kinda a shitty song, no? But - as someone who loves Weezer, in spite of this horrible idea for an album, and as someone who loves LOST, I will be buying it - even just to have as a novelty item.

But seriously, this is the same band that wrote "Say it Ain't So."

Expect a photo of me holding up the album cover with a quizzical look on my face to appear on my blog the day I purchase this.

As for that video you posted - visually it's cool, yes.

  5. I love this song and this video. *sigh*

And I would write about the cd if I could get the fucker to work on ANYTHING. I'm doing attempt #2 on iTunes. Swear to god- Idon't have it in me to drive to Best Buy to bitch them out because talking to customer service there is about the same as talking to a lamp post and expecting to do something for me. Grrr..
