So far we have went over the majority of Anberlin's discography. However, they released "Lost Songs" which was a collection of B-sides, covers and acoustic versions of previously released songs. Honestly, I wish more bands would do this.
Their covers are fantastic (Radiohead's "Creep" and The Smith's "There is a Light that Never Goes Out" are on there). But the song for today is one of the b-sides, "The Haunting."
Now, while I am posting lyrics and not videos, I have to make a compromise because, in my opinion, what makes this song is the way he delivers the words.

ooh- every time I hear this song I get chills. Becuase I totally know what it's like to want something you can't have. Badly. Fortunately, I have a trusty vibrator and a fabulous imagination so that's worked out for me. LOL. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm very glad you gave this one to me because I really love it more than I thought I would. And I agree- I wish more bands would embrace being a bit different and release a bside album and/or do more covers. Because really- depending on how you sing the lyrics I think the songs could take on a totally different meaning.
