WW (Sort of): Ten Things

So while not entirely wordless and not entirely pictures, it still sort of fits that category. But this post was inspired by a recent offering from Kaylalala at Cinnamon on Toast who was inspired by Lisa at A Day in The Life. These are ten things that are currently making me happy (though "currently" is debatable because most of these are stuff I am looking forward to)

10. Alice in Wonderland - March 5

If you aren't excited for this movie, I don't know what to say. Depp + Burton + classic story + 3D = Effing Magical

9. After trying to find some classic Alice in Wonderland footage from the Disney cartoon, I came across this. And I could not stop laughing.

8. And then when I went to show Frisco that, he in turn showed me this. And I almost cried from laughing so hard.

7. March Madness

I don't know much about college basketball, but it's fun to play in the brackets. And my uncle is a big UNC fan, so that's who I go for.

6. Resistance - The Tiesto Remix (I was a little unsure about this at first, but it has grown on me)

5. Netflix

Netflix has allowed me to watch this season of Heroes with my family in South Dakota over Xbox Live, get started and finish Arrested Development, start 30 Rock and various other movies that I have been meaning to see.

4. Spring Break

Yes, that is a picture of Lost going with my spring break plans. My family has moved and most of my friends have their break at a different time so I will be spending my break playing video games and catching up on shows. And thanks to the above mentioned Netflix, one of those shows will be Lost.

3. Meeting new blogging buddies (and reuniting with old ones)

2. Wrestlemania 26

Don't hate, it's our Superbowl. And it's about a month away.

1. Graduation

Granted, this is the one that is the longest away. But it is the one I am looking forward to the most. The countdown has begun.

  1. Even though your spring break is the week after ours, maybe you can still come down for a day or two. If you want.

  2. I'm excited about Alice in Wonderland too. Have you ever watched LOST before? It is so much better renting the DVDs and getting to watch the episodes back to back! It's more addicting that way too LOL

  3. While I'm not a wrestling fan, I can agree/related to every other point that you have on this post. LOVE the Tiesto remix... thanks for that. :-)

  4. yay! I love your list. So excited to see "Alice in Wonderland"...but you already know that. Any big plans for after graduation? It will creep up on you so fast and before you know it, it will be the big day! :)

  5. I just bought Arrested Development season 1 and I'm and now addicted. ;) I don't know how much I'm feeling the remix. Alice is going to be bananas. I'm super excited and trying to recruit as many people to go with me as possible. Strangers, even. I don't even care. ;) I hope when you have kids they make you watch hours of Barney. Barney movies should be used to torture people because that's what it's like. I've hidden the Barney movies at my house. It's fucking wrong, that's for sure.

  6. I'm glad for the new Alice in Wonderland they went with the less well known story of "Through the Looking Glass" as opposed to using the same "Alice in Wonderland" that's been done over and over. Through the Looking Glass is my preferred of the two, since it's much more adult, and darker. So yay!

  7. @j:
    good point. Would give me something to look forward to at least

    @Cassie:
    Even better than renting the DVDs? Having the episodes available to you online. And then being able to watch them on the Xbox. I love technology. And I have only seen four episodes and I can see why everyone is hooked. But I'm trying to finish Heroes first haha

    @Nic:
    9 out of 10 isn't bad, right? Haha I have yet to meet a blogger that likes wrestling, maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. I like the title of your blog I will try to check it out but I'm horrible with wordpress accounts. Glad you enjoyed the Tiesto!

    @Lisa:
    I knew you would. The only plans as far as after graduation is to get out of Alabama. I don't hate it so much as I feel I need to move on. I feel like you know what I'm sayin...

    @Sara:
    AD is awesome and I have jeanette below you to thank for that. We are trying to do a group thing for Alice in Montgomery haha. I wonder if they have used Barney overseas haha

    @jeanette:
    Look at you educating me. I never knew all that. This is why I'm glad you have stuck around all these months

  10. @Melissa:
    Are you talking this thursday? Or the midnight showing before? Both choices would be awesome. And you are right about the non-description for Muse

    @Jsjov:

  11. about 80% of your ten things made me terribly happy! the alice in wonderland & barney videos were beyond compare... thanks for making me aware of them.

    and muse, for some reason, is pretty much the hot topic of conversation with all my friends these days... who knew that spending hours listening to showbiz would pay off in terms of cool points years down the road.

    the parts about spring break and graduating just make me sad... i want to go back to school so badly, but unfortunately grad school is expensive, and i am poor. as far as spring break goes, my parents invite me on their awesome trips (s. africa, greece, st. barths, etc.) every year, but i am a tax accountant. and spring break is the most ridiculously busy time of year for a tax accountant. free vacations aren't that great when you don't have a job to return to...

    and i've rambled. but i love your blog, and i'll definitely be back to check things out later on!

    So I'm guessing that 20% was the guy stuff, basketball and wrestling? Haha just a guess...

    And I love rambling comments. Seriously. Love them. Makes me feel better when I do it. And that has got to be the total irony to get invited on wonderful trips you can't attend.
